About the Book

Jake thought he was meant to marry Brooklyn, but now she's pregnant, and he had nothing to do with it.

As Brooklyn wrestles with questions about what her pregnancy means and how it will affect her relationship with Jake, she can't bring herself to tell him the truth.

To make matters worse, if the man who owns the bookstore across from Jake's coffee shop, has anything to do with it, the baby will ruin them both.

Can Jake and Brooklyn overcome the obstacles thrown in their path, and finally find the truth in God's love and in each other?

My Review:

It has been a long time that a romance has had this kind of effect on me. What an amazing book and one that the Lord used to convict me of something in my own life I had been harboring. The characters, Jake and Brooklyn, are so authentic and each of their journeys take the reader on an up and down experience not unlike their own. The book had me smiling, had me angry, had me in tears, and had me cheering. That is saying a lot for a book because it means the author developed the characters well. I can't say enough good about this book--you have to buy it and read it for yourself!! It is a terrific read and is a well-crafted story!!

I voluntarily received a complimentary copy from the author. All opinions and thoughts are my own.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars
