My Review

This is the first book I have read by Sandra Orchard. There were lots of twists and turns which led to a suspenseful plot. While I enjoyed the overall theme of the book, there were times when the storyline seemed to drag a bit. Also, I thought some of the descriptive narration was a bit overdone in a few places (for example: "When had the skin on Dad's neck begun to hang like ripples on the shore?" and "Kate let out a huff that rivaled Mount St. Helens.") With that being said though, there was some great dialogue along the way, and I really loved the Christian theme embedded within the story! Thanks to Ms. Orchard for a good read!

Thank you to NetGalley and Revell Publishing for allowing me to preview the book--the opinions which I wrote are my own.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars
