When Kennedy Stern’s childhood pastor asks her to volunteer at his new pregnancy center, she carves time out of her rigorous college schedule to promote the cause of the unborn. After receiving a disturbing call from someone far too young to carry a child in the first place, Kennedy can no longer blindly hide behind the pro-life platitudes she grew up believing. She resolves to locate the unknown girl but winds up entrenched in a mystery that grows more convoluted as it unfolds. Soon, Kennedy finds herself a pawn in a deadly game of intrigue, at the mercy of those who consider a few innocent lives a small ransom to pay in exchange for personal and political victory.
My Review:
This is the third book I have read from Ms. Terry, and it is just like the others--a terrific read!! Ms. Terry has a gift for writing! With compassion, realism, and a Christian perspective, she weaves a compelling story that always leaves the reader thinking and pondering how the ideas in the book apply to their own life. This book reminds me that even though in our world things are unplanned, in the Lord's world everything is planned. Ms. Terry has crafted another great story!
Thank you to the author for allowing me to review this book--the opinions and thoughts are my own.
