Grace in the Desert by Christine Dillon

Book cover for Grace in the Desert by Christine DillonAbout the Book:

Must yesterday’s pain strangle tomorrow's hope?

Rachel Macdonald is learning how to navigate the unfamiliar new world of being a Christian.

Her father rejected her years ago. Now he claims to be a new man. Surely God can't expect her to forgive him? Forgiving feels like a denial of all the pain he caused.

Will Rachel remain bound by anger and hurt, or embrace the future God has planned?

Past tragedy almost overwhelmed Pete Klopper. Now he's taken over the family nursery it could be the fresh start he hopes for. But only If his past doesn't drag him down.

For Pete, the hardest person to forgive is himself.

My Review:

What another excellent story! This author knows how to craft an amazing story that hooks the reader, shares Biblical truth, and pulls at the heart strings! To say the stories and characters definitely will stay with you and leave an indelible mark on your spirit is an understatement. This is another inspiring installment in the series, but you can still read this book without reading the others.

Ms. Dillon doesn't shy away from Biblical Truth which is often so missing in Christian fiction today. I cannot speak highly enough about this series--do yourself a favor and DON'T overlook this series--it is the best I have read in a long time!

I voluntarily received a complimentary copy from the author. All opinions and thoughts are my own.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars
